First aid refresher course and safety instructions
Every two years, the employees at Schwalm Kanalsanierung and Schwalm Robotic are given further training in First Aid at Work by the DRK (German Red Cross). And, as safety is the top priority at all Schwalm workplaces, the refresher course took place on September 26, 2019 for the robotics team. “The one-day course again provides the very important confidence in action for almost every emergency situation at work and in leisure time,” say the participants. It is a good feeling to be able to help in the correct way”. The recurring course will take place in January 2020 for the sewer renovation team.

Annual instructions
If you know the risks, you can avoid the hazards
On November 20, 2019, the training program for employees of Schwalm Robotic continued with the annual instructions for health and safety at work according to ASiG (German Occupational Safety Act), forklift truck drivers, operators of lifting platforms/aerial work platforms and crane drivers. The two-hour theory instruction was carried out directly in the robotics hall by an external safety officer who imparted a wealth of knowledge about new legal developments, statutory provisions and accident statistics.
